i am Male, 60 years old , never married , and maybe this influences my opinion .... BUT , i started saying to myself 30 minutes from the end .... This is just a movie for bored housewives !! Heard good things about this film years ago , BUT , like reviewers SA & Maisie Day (below), there is something not quite right .... or missing from this film. i genuinely was disappointed with the ending, feeling that it made the whole film seem like Fatal Attraction. Emily Blunt is Fantastic in the lead role, and for those who enjoy Allison Janney in Mom , she makes a wonderful appearance as a Sober Detective, investigating the Alcoholic Emily Blunt !! ( Great Casting ). Worth watching ..... BUT (Viewed on TV, Aug 26th 2022).

Forget the Roasting James Corden ( Himself , the "star" , of 2 of the worst movies Ever made !! ), gave on his show , this is an absolute Masterpiece of a Comedy, and a great ending to parts 1 & 2. Michael Caine & Beyonce are Brilliant , and i laughed so hard when i 1st watched it in 2006 !!!

Simply Brilliant !! impossible to imagine the Writer trying to pitch the idea for this movie to a Studio Head !!?? Won a BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay , Sadly, No Oscar recognition.

Before seeing the killing of George Floyd by a Sexual Sadistic Cop, you would have thought that the behaviour of the Ebbing P.D in this Movie, was the work of warped Screenwriters ! Unfortunately....... A Very important Movie to watch in 2020 and Beyond.

The plot to this movie has more holes than Swiss Cheese ! Nonetheless, it's worth watching , for the ........ Oh, that's her or him from What's a Name ! Exc Acting makes it a Easy Watch.

Why did it take till 2010, to cast an Aboriginal as the "Bad Guy", in Australia's 1st Western. This is an entertaining and well acted movie, who rightly or wrongly had me rooting for the "bad" guy !!

Do Not confuse this, with the 1998 Antonio Banderas version, The Mask of Zorro !! ( also starring Catherine Zeta-Jones !! ). This is the Much Superior version .......Bigger and Louder, & Much More Enjoyable !!

I will buck the trend and say ....... So What?? Ultimately for me, it was a case of ........ " and then Nothing Happened " !! It's hard to accept that a woman could play the part of someone who suffered from Severe Agoraphobia, Only to con someone out of his Art Collection !?! Only a Real Actress could pull this off .......... Not someone who is just a Con Artist !?! It's as if the Entire Purpose of the film, was to Showcase the Acting Ability of Sylvia Hoeks !! , which in turn removes any Realism for me !

If you like a movie about human drama in a European setting, then you should enjoy Playoff. The charismatic lead actor Danny Huston,(Anjelica Hustons half-brother), plays the part of an Israeli, who comes to West Germany in 1982 to coach the National Basketball Team. The team is coached in Frankfurt, which also happened to be his home,when he was a boy, before having to flee Nazi Germany. While re visiting his old neighborhood, he meets a Turkish woman who now lives in his old apartment. The two then embark on a journey which uncovers new and old revelations. Worth watching.
