Nicholas Hopkins

I thought it was badly written and badly acted and directed. The pacing was terrible and an hour in I was ready for it to end. The sampling of images from previous matrix films felt derivative. The fight scenes were uninspired (in the original Matrix movie they were moments of character building). There plot points that reversed themselves at the speed of narration. There were some very interesting ideas that were present in the background but never felt very well examined. Simply, it was a mess and it makes me sad.
