I looked forward to this movie - to learn about the man and his engineering and construction feats. Incredible and amazing and I could have easily watched more of it. The visuals and period settings are fabulous.The movie has a gratuitous, unbelievable and fictitious love story of an over-the-top beautiful muse which I found annoying and distracting, but no doubt it may please the voyeurs. In summary, I'm pleased I saw this at the cinemas. The ingenuity of Eiffel is remarkable. It would have been a bonus to gain more insight to the other entries too.

I really enjoyed this mainstream film. It had clear themes and conveyed the sense of chaos that could reign when technology goes awry. Good cast and fast past and I easily forgave any cheesy scenes. A good moralising romp at the movies. Well done.

I enjoyed this quiet film. The scruffy best friends visiting the small isolated town which somehow survives in arctic conditions. The inuit residents are a mix of old and new tradition. Breathtakingly beautiful and the direction, storyline and genuine backdrop to the film refreshing and enjoyable. Three cheers for the director, writers and actors.

This is a gem. The tone, characters, pace, intrigue ... very watchable. I'm disappointed there is not a series 2.
