I remember watching this when it first came out and enjoying myself and being impressed with the production value. Having just finished playing FF7 Remake made me want to watch this again, and it is even better than I remembered it. Amazing fight scenes, the characters are true to the game, and the animation is great (still holds up 15 years later)! And, having just finished playing the latest video game, the plot actually pretty much makes sense, which actually says a lot for a JRPG. Great for fans of FF7, JRPGs, Anime, etc.

Lots of times in comic books or comic book shows there are no real consequences. This shows the opposite, when heroes fail and then must overcome. Huge cast, well acted, fantastic conclusion to the DC Animated Universe series.

Ok so I am not sure what all the hate is about... the movie was fine. I thought James McAvoy was excellent as Xavier. Most other characters were also well fleshed out, sadly except for Magneto. Though kudos to the best representation of Storm, though seeing her still get her butt kicked as in all other movies is disappointing. There certainly was a missed opportunity to flesh out the villains more. But overall this isn't a terrible movie. Yes it is far less than what it has the potential to be, but I liked it far better than X3, and you could do far worse with 2 hours of your life.

Really enjoyed this movie, probably even more so than The Death of Superman. The story was well-told, each of the characters got their time in the spotlight. The battles were all satisfying, great animation. Some very funny parts too, which was a surprise
