This is book anyone interested in the Romantic movement should read, particularly those interested in Wordsworth, Coleridge and Southey. It is very much a warts and all study of those three poets in particular. Quite a harsh description of Wordsworth, for instance, but very refreshing, given the hagiography which often surround his name. Written in very stylish, elegant English too, which is always a bonus.
