David Tobrise – Google

The series is brilliant. The only problem I have was with Debra Morgan; I don't think her character was necessary. She's foul mouthed in the film and was also an emotional wreck and hypocrite. Her hypocrisy wasn't judged or condemned in the series. I had to fast forward most scenes where she appeared because of her stinking mouth. Not one sentence could come from her lips without curse words. Aside of Debra Morgan, I think the series was okay.

At the initial plot was fine but it came down to the default Korean drama template where 2 guys are falling and fighting for a girl (which I have always found silly and annoying). You would find such elements in dramas like boys over flowers, Jumong, Kingdom of the wind, the good Doctor, Beethoven Virus, Scarlet Heart:ryeo, amongst others I stopped at episode 13 because I could predict the end. They really need to infuse better cinema flavours into their dramas. As much as I like Korean drama, alot of times they always have this common element which for me is silly. The second lead was relegated to the background after investing such dramatic attachment to him at the beginning. The so called programmers whose codes are not more than 10 lines. If you are gonna use the python language, there are many source codes on the internet to help you make look more guenuine.

Korean film makers don't learn. They just spoiled this good story with prolonged and unnecessary intrigues. It should have ended at episode 16 or max 18 instead of 26. It was good story but at a point started lacking intelligence and direction. The Last two episodes looked more like another movie. The crimes of the villain should been by gradual discovery of evidence... The prolonged evil was unnecessary. Nawan sik's memory disappeared completely from the last episodes, the Chief bodyguard. The princess(The Emperor's sister) was there when the reading of the first will was done, how come she does not remember what was said.

Though I have not finished the season but it seems like it is going back and forth. Like I get you and you get me.... The beginning wasn't so bad until that started this back and forth thing. Korean directors and script writers need to always put an element of intelligence in their films: Why wasn't the fact that, the lady presumed to be a suspect and fugitive was caught trying to tail the real culprit only for the police to see a dead body in her trunk taken into consideration in the film. The normal behavior of a fugitive is to run and hide. Why she exposed herself in front of the police (someone who was once a police officer) if she was the real culprit. That part was not brought to bare....If korean film makers would pay more attention to details like they do in their technologies their movies would be alot better and more internationally accepted.

This drama is special so far. I am in episode 9 though. There is one thing i would like korean script writers to put into consideration in this present day age is that there is something called "The Cloud" or Cloud computing. It is no longer in the character of the people of this age to store only one copy of a video or a file (Which could be used as evidence) in a flash or a physical computer. some of the dramas that I have watched have failed in this regard. Once the villian gets a that flash drive or destroys that computer it's all over. That is not consistent with this present day and age where we have cloud backups and internet is known to be superb in korea....so common
