The series is glorifying a sport at low levels, and trying to make it bigger than life. What percentage of these young men actually earn a decent salary playing football? I feel sorry for those young men. Coach Brown in season two appears to be an alcoholic wanna be gangster with his dispicable language. Is this really what people stand up and cheer for in these cities? Why not spend millions of dollars on a facility that brings in talent to better the sciences and health for example? I guess there is not weekly games with stadiums full of people cheering on a cure for cancer. We may just have this whole thing backwards people.
