A huge amount of respect to the Black and Indigenous voices who have done SO much work to overcome their own intersectional oppressions - Michael Sam and Esera Tuaolo. Unfortunately, but not unsurprisingly, they feature as supporting figures in this series. BIPOC are typically guests and guides to the white middle class main character. I want to see a bio-series of their stories!
