Liked the movie, DJ Cinderella, or Cinderela Pop In Brazil, but for a Netflix original, I did not know it was a Brazilian film until I began watching it for the first time. It took place at a party where the main character Cintia (Maisa Silva) was dreaming about being a successful DJ. One of the violin players, which became a famous singer-songwriter 2 years after the event, Freddy Prince (Filipe Bragança), which fell in love with Cintia at first sight, but didn’t know who she was, due to her mask. Two years after the event, her awful stepmom Patricia (Fernanda Paes Leme) gained access to the school system and altered Cintia’s grades. Her daughters began going to Cintia’s school and made her life miserable. When André (Leo Cidade) and Diego (Matheus Costa) made an app for cheating on tests, they were using it when they were taking an exam. There was an announcement that they began banning phones in the courtyard, even during breaks. This affected Cintia, who contacted her mother during the afternoon due to Japan’s 12-hour difference. One of Patricia’s daughters told the truth about Patricia altering Cintia’s grades at the school prom. Freddy’s best friend, Belinha (Giovanna Grigio), who was a YouTuber, showed him the video of Cintia playing the piano from the event 2 years prior. They kissed at prom, became a couple and began performing together. Cintia’s aunt Helena went back together with her DJ boyfriend Rafa and they became very happy. Also, the puppy he left her, which she named “Love” had puppies. Patricia left her daughters with Cintia’s father César (Marcelo Valle) and went back to living with her mother in Piriri. The film looked great, but the English-dubbed audio? Some of the actors might have used their own voices or other people who spoke English were in their place. Also noticed the Brazilian accent as well.
