god, this was one of my summer reading books that i initially chose because "well its only like, 90 pages ill be good lmao" and then proceeded to read one of the worst things ever. I'd rate My Immortal better than this, my eyes have witnessed tony the tiger x the grinch and i enjoyed reading that more than this monstrosity you'd call a book. Its plot is bone dry and the entire time i had no idea what was going on. steinbeck isint even a bad author! of mice and men was a cool book and stuff like???????? this book was horrific and i pity anyone who reads it tldr: sucks
