Viking version of the Hatfield & McCoys. The berserkers ramping up for battle was interesting, but the Nord/Viking space has become oversaturated and the film's efforts to distinguish itself seemed to lean into a "Horror villain as protagonist" vibe, which was different I credit. But ultimately it just falls into a Christian church PSA against pagan history. Some of you complimenting the historical accuracy need to share your shrooms. Historical accuracy in this era is trickier than most realize, and you need to read more than just "a book about Norse mythology" as so many of you suggest.
