This movie was horrible. I couldn’t finish it. I think Jonah Hill is funny so wanted to give it a shot but I didn’t realize there would literally be no substance to the movie and the only thing that would be discussed would be race. I understood that to be a major role and could have been smart and funny but it just didn’t do it for me. If you’re looking for a clever movie that touches on stereotypes and learning to be open minded but is actually interesting, go watch Vengeance.

It’s a really good show. Guess I’m like a lot of reviewers and I wish they hadn’t thrown the left liberal side in your face so much. I don’t mind some, that’s to be expected, but it was over the top. On the other hand, the show was really creative, well written, and had great cinematography. I think anyone who watches this show is either all good with how far the show moved to the left or they just straight up love good fantasy which is hard to come by these days. It actually reminded me of The Preacher for some of the episodes with the absurdity and “where are they going with this?” theme. I liked that. All in all, if you like the genre, I would recommend giving it a go. I do want one romance with the sandman though, is that too much to ask? We got a hint at the end. Maybe.

I really love the show. Just started season 4. The cinematography is amazing and I love sci fi. Add in a little funky western business to it, and that’s just cool. My only beef is that it’s so long between seasons (I get why but it has a negative impact for me) and the show is so complex that it’s really hard to just jump back into the next season without either rewatching a couple episodes of the previous or reading up on recaps. But otherwise, awesome and highly recommended!

It’s Stranger Things with just too much sjw. It’s just not realistic. It’s set in 1988 and the characters aren’t realistic for that period. Stranger things makes so much more sense. It touches on real life while trying to stay true to how things were back then. I honestly couldn’t get past the first episode. These high reviews must be from a different generation that don’t get what it was like in the 90s and 80s.

I loved this movie! I gotta say. I haven’t seen a suspenseful movie (because it’s more that than horror) in the theatre in so many years that I can’t even remember. I save the theatre for action movies. I’m so glad I didn’t wait! You know a movie is good when you go to the movies at 9pm on a Saturday night and everyone is silent throughout the entire show and then they clap when the tension is finally over. That’s how this movie was. I think everyone was too stressed out to be annoying and talk to each other. But stressed in a good way! I also love that this movie is set in the 1970s and the cinematography is cool, it is all super unique. Great film. I can’t wait for it to come out on prime so I can buy it. *Spoilers* I also would like to say that I think the supernatural part of the movie is very interesting. Without giving many spoilers because the sister is already having dreams in the trailers, then of course there is the phone, the one spoiler is that the killer says he heard the phone but that it doesn’t work. Some people seem to think that all needed to be explored more but I didn’t feel dissatisfied. My thoughts on the subject were that the *spoilers* sister and brother had these abilities from their mom and she was the one giving them to the sister and allowing the son to be able to hear the phone. The killer, I don’t know. I thought of that more like this guy is so close to death, why wouldn’t he hear it?

I actually enjoyed both seasons. I was nervous season 2 was going to be very anti-men but they did a pretty good job of having a lot of personalities and also weird understanding even when they later (*spoiler*) decided the understanding was not worth it. I thought that was smart. A lot of shows would’ve just gone straight for the judgment, one and done, no complexity. But people are complex and they are conflicted and I liked that they showed the different personalities in that sense. If anyone knows what I’m talking about, the guy is a psychopath. Anyway, I just was happy that they were pretty equal with both the girls and the boys. Both are different, but both can bond.

People who give season 2 a low rating only because amazon made what they thought was a good decision to not release the entire season at once need to get real. It’s an unfair rating to the show, writings, producers, creators and actors. Hate on amazon all you want but don’t be a jerk and give the show a low rating just because you can’t sit down on a Saturday for 8 hours and finish the season. So far, season 2 is living up to season 1. Im totally digging it.

I really liked the show. It was entertaining. The ending was fun. Everyone seems to keep saying it was super shocking, it was for sure a good ending, but I wouldn’t say it was out of this world shocking. There is a season 2 coming I guess, I’m looking forward to that because there were some things that didn’t add up or weren’t answered. I read an article that said everything was answered and they didn’t know what was going to happen in the next season, it might end up being about a different crime, involving Vincent. I honestly wonder if the people who write those “season 2, release date, what to expect…” articles are incredibly stupid or just don’t watch the shows that they write about. I will give the benefit of the doubt. Well. Got sidetracked there. Good show. Go watch!
