This show, when it first started out, was one-dimensional and borderline insufferable. Thus, it had rightfully bombed with everyone. However, once it had reached the American dubbing studios, it literally took a turn for the vulgar and the offensive, and I absolutely LOVE it for that! Basically, this is EXACTLY what would happen if Leo Bloom and Max Bialystock directed the dubbing; You'd wind up with the anime equivalent of "Springtime for Hitler."
