I do like the show and have watched it for years. During the Logies build-up last year I remember there were some scathing comments about the viewers all being "over 70". I think many probably are. Lots of us have downsized from our big houses and gardens, and although still avid gardeners, we now have only a small courtyard, balcony or terrace as our "plot" which usually means lots of pots and planters. I would love to see a regular feature about gardening in small spaces and the people who have done this with success and created lush growth. Last year there was an enthusiastic young couple who had made a native garden in Edgecliff Sydney above the train line and another man who made curious miniature stage settings in pots... but I don't recall any others. It would be great to have some expert tips and advice on dealing with the problems we smaller space gardening people encounter (who would have thought hordes of whitefly on a second story terrace garden in the inner city?) I do hope there might be plans for some enlightening segments the in 2020 Gardening Australia schedule.
