Just caught it up on one the movie channels. Had I knew the climax would be like the way it is, I would have never seen this movie. The plot of the Knowing is like a mountain. It certainly goes up from the beginning and jumps to a valley, a deep one. Nicolas Cage is fantastic and tye only one to look for. I would not recommend this movie to people who doesn't like to fiction a lot.
