I usually love the Story of Seasons games but I was incredibly disappointed by this one. I could see they were taking some risks and trying different mechanics poached from other games but the sum was entirely underwhelming. I think the most succinct way to put it is that the game was incredibly unplayably boring. The characters where dull and lifeless. The story was so absent I can't even remember what it was about and the gameplay felt rote and repetitive. There was none of the charm of the previous games and I sincerely hope that the company learns from this and improves significantly moving forward.
