Joe Metzger

This is a great fantasy adventure novel for preteen (9 to 12 year old) girls. It's funny and exciting, easy to read, and well written. I love the humor and adventure, and the young girls in your life will love the inspiring and empowering example set by the female lead. The fact that this was written by a kid makes it even more amazing that she could create something this creative and polished. It reminds me of Lewis Carroll, but with more magic and adventure. I can't wait for the next book!
