I can only assume that those individuals giving this film less than 5 stars haven't actually seen it. It brings answers to the questions left over from the first Matrix film, and more than puts right the weaknesses of parts 2 and 3. A great blend of old and new stories, Keanu and Carrie are just amazing and every scene with them together is just perfect. The new, young cast are well chosen and there's a real sense that they have actually watched, understood and enjoyed the first films before getting these roles. Plus little bits of sarcasm from the 'originals' tip a wink to the older generation which is appreciated! All in all, 2 and a bit hours goes by so quickly, filled with breath taking filming and CGI with impeccable acting and story telling which will absolutely provoke thought and conversation for a long time afterwards.
