"I'm Not the Hero" is a fun and engaging Isekai LitRPG with a solid main character and great world-building. I really enjoyed the MC’s perspective—he’s entertaining and keeps the story moving at a good pace. The action scenes are well done, and the setting feels fleshed out and immersive. That said, the audiobook presentation of skills, classes, and magic could have been handled better, as it sometimes felt clunky or hard to follow. Daniel, the MC’s friend, has his annoying moments but ultimately plays a strong supporting role. One thing I wish the book included was experience points for buffing—it would have made the progression system feel more rewarding. Overall, this is a great read for LitRPG fans who enjoy a well-thought-out world, solid action, and a fun protagonist. Just be prepared for a few system quirks in the audiobook format!

It is the final book in the trilogy. I really enjoyed how everything was connected. I enjoyed the battles, and the epic set up for the ending. It is a nice book for middle school aged readers, or anyone wanting to read a nice light SCI-Fi book.

First off I want to say that I did enjoy this book and I am excited for the next/final book. I found the pacing to be fairly strong and the plot moved forward at a good pace. I thought the author took some good risks in his story telling. I found the character growth of Anaya and Petra to be very good. I could see the change in them, wither for good or bad I don't know yet. I will say I am disappointed in the development of Seth. Maybe I am not connecting to him as much, but his character always just feels almost surface level. I can see him being pulled in different directions and not trusting people, but he just seems off... But that is my personal point of view. The only thing negative about the book (Spoiler) that I did not enjoy was the bunker stuff. I want more of the creatures and changing landscape. I felt to stereotyped and felt like that part was just like any other end of the world teen drama, For the me the book took off when the escaped and were dealing with the outside world more. Overall, I enjoyed book two, and look forward to book 3, thrive. I have pre-ordered it!

I really enjoyed this book. I spend a lot of my free time around BC. I really felt like I was reading a book that took place in my backyard. I felt like the start of the book started off strong, and the development of the 2 female characters was done well. The development of Seth was a bit of a struggle for me, he could have been brought out more, but I would say he felt more a supporting character for the 2 female leads. I really enjoyed the development of the plants as the bad guys and the desire to figure out how they came to be. It is a nice middle school read, but I can see all ages enjoying the content. I look forward to the next book.

Great book for young adult readers. I enjoyed the mystery. The first chapter was a bit slow, only because of character development and setting the stage. I enjoyed it a great deal. Finished it in a day. Second, I felt like the ending was a bit rushed but Ollie (main character) rocked it!

“Drum Roll, Please” was a very interesting take on afamily's divorce. I have to say I enjoyed it a great deal. Our hero, Melly, the awesome young drummer, was told just before being sent away to rock camp that her parents are getting it. Mel was always a young shy girl, who just went along with the flow. She followed her best friend Olivia, and was happy to just hold the beat, but this all changed when she suddenly felt alone at band-camp and knowing when she got back her world would be completely different. Overall, the novel was an amazing lesson in storytelling. We were able to grow alongside Mel. She started off shy and not wanting to chase after things that made her happy. She was always worried about making others happy that she forgot herself… until she met Adaline.  It is a heart-warming story where it was about this young hero finding a small part of herself and learning to be the Rockstar that she is. It is a great novel to add to any collection and I would say, a great story about finding oneself and where we can belong if we are willing to take a risk.

This adventure is amazing! I have listen to all 5 of the current audiobooks out right now, and it is a true experience to enjoy such outstanding storytelling. If you like LitRPG it is for you. If you are like me at the start and have no idea what that is, this book is for you. Jason is an awesome character to get to know and try to understand.

This book is pretty awesome! I love Carl. If you like LitRPG it is worth it. Really awesome book!
