It had its moments, where it wasn't as high caliber as its predecessors, but it was a fun ride. It addressed the storylines from all the previous movies, as far as I remember, at least. I honestly didn't see the Rey twist coming, and I didn't expect Kylo Ren to go the direction he did. The action and effects, WERE BEAUTIFUL. Cinematic landscapes, which are hallmark to all the Star Wars movies, but this movie has the most enormous, and detailed, and beautiful landscapes. The dog fights in tight spaces, another hallmark, were fast and abundant. AND I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND YOU SEE THIS IN 3D. All of this, was AMAZING to see with the 3d. A treat, for sure. If I lived by an IMAX theater, I'd pay that higher price. This in IMAX 3D? my brain would explode. That said, it wraps up everything, in a seemingly nice bow. I didn't care for one of the endings for a character, it was anti-climactic for the characters storyline.
I say go see it, obviously, go in and just enjoy it for the spectacle that all star wars movies have. Enjoy it for what it is, don't go in with the intent to scrutinize every single moment or flaw in the movie. Going in with crazy fandom and unrealistic expectations is how you ruin a movie.
