I kept watching, hoping the show would get better and redeem itself, but 3/4ths of the way through Season 1 and I'm ready to give up. This idea had SO MUCH potential, IF there were competent writers and actors. As a scientist I am used to suspending disbelief for sci fi and dystopic shows....and I often enjoy them. But there is SO MUCH wrong about the concepts introduced here, that even my very liberal ability to suspend disbelief was shattered. The last straw was when the writers and directors clearly couldn't even get a half competent scientist to teach the actors how to pronounce a very common lab instument...an electroporator. Every time I heard them say 'elec - trop - orator' I physically cringed. I was willing to suffer through the entire first season until they kept up the mispronunciation of a piece of lab equipment they could have asked a first year graduate student to pronounce. I knew at that point that they were extremely sloppy, egotistical and unwilling to pay a science advisor to correct even the simplest mistakes on set. Very sad. I looked forward to the development of this idea.
