Colbert the good and the bad: 1. He points out what is wrong in the world of Trump in a comic way. This is the main reason that I'll watch him. As Trump is a habitual liar, Colbert is the barometer of fiction checks. 2. Blatant wrongs. We understand that racial facial stereotypes are wrong ie Aisian "slant eyes", big lip blacks" or "big nose Jews". I would carry that forward in saying individual facial characteristics that are portrayed in a negative light are equally as wrong. Isn't it a form of bullying when you look at the facial characteristics of a news personality and make light of it? While at first light it may seem funny hindsight makes it seem like cruelty. 3. When fresh becomes stale. The comic's sidekick is always there to prop him up but when Batiste is on the sideline cheering on every funny bit from Colbert , then it falls into boredom.
