I really like this show. My husband and I really enjoy it and like to watch how some are cooking their traditional food. I'm European and a guest in this country (well I'm a citizen now). There is a difference in real Italian and Greek cooking but it's pretty close. We love to get inspired with recepices. We really liked the French team as their food can be found in little Bistros in Paris etc., it was very authentic. I wished they would have shown how to do a proper Duck Confit (they probably were leaving this for the final). So we were a bit disappointed that they were out because of the focus on the French fries rather than on the Beef Tartare. The Italian dish was just simple and not a work of art. They could have done Beef with Truffle (fileto di manzo al tartuffo nero). And yes we agree that one of the French team members came across very arrogant (but more so the Indian team). If you've ever travelled to Paris or any other big city in France would know that this is just who they are, they come across arrogant but in fact they are not that bad and just proud of their food (and no I'm not French). I can't comment on the Asian food or Cameroon as I've never been to either but their food looked great too. We loved the Greek girls and we'll try making the Greek Suvlaki one day. We are looking forward to today's semi-final.
