Although it does present a dark and satirical portrayal of the care home industry and the evil of American capitalism, this film fails at sticking the landing. From the screenplay, directing, cinematography, pacing... everything seems just good enough, but nothing stands out. Some of the dialogue is embarrassingly bad, its plot points convoluted. The topic of human trafficking in brought up but never developed. There is moments where male characters are supposed to be taught a lesson about treating women, but it comes from the sociopathic "protagonist" who has no essence of good in her, apart if you count her love for her girlfriend. Altogether, this was bearable if considered as a student film, an undeveloped work, a stab at concepts that were too big for the director.
