This show is an introvert's absolute dream kdrama.
Those who said that it's super slow and boring won't really be able to grasp nor appreciate the gradual unravelling of each character's life, no matter how hard they try. It's simply not for the fast-paced, loud, flashy, and superficial.
I typically fast forward most kdramas that have predictable plot or dialogues but I find that I have not done it yet for My Liberation Notes. It's because I want to see every subtle change in the characters' facial expressions and body movements, observe how the background and music complement the scenes, and just be able to immerse myself in the mundane yet incredibly interesting piece of universe that the characters live in. I find my self introspecting a lot while watching, which I find quite calming.
Every end of an episode keeps me wanting, no, yearning for more.
