Lex Caldwell

I found this book on a Walmart shelf and I talked about getting it but never did for myself. I received it as a gift many months later. I started reading this book completely in dark, not really knowing what I had gotten myself into. This is meant to be a children’s book but I wouldn’t classify it as that and I wouldn’t read it to a young child. This book deals with a lot of heavy topics that can cause a small child grief. Although these topics are very real and will be learned at some point. It is quite beautifully written and has moved me out of my reader’s slump. I would recommend this book to teenagers or even adults who are looking for a new gripping, gut-wrenching, feel good book that you almost certainly won’t put down until you’ve finished.
