I had the misfortune of reading this in class. The story was poorly written, extremely predictable and had questionable perspectives. It was bland, to say the least, and had a very cheap ending. The authors randomly shove unnecessary information into the book, making it very confusing. It didn't even clearly tell the reader that the main character is a ghost, until way too late into the story. And i can't even describe how sloppy the "poetry chapters" were in this book. I understand it's supposed to be artistic and whatnot, but it just make me even more confused, and the poetry wasn't even that good in the first place. This book feels like something you would write in NAPLAN as creative writing, since it obviously had no plan for what the ending was supposed to be, and was clearly improvised. I mean, it's better than having to read fahrenheit 451 in class, but id rather play dead at a necrophilia convention than read this at home "for fun". It's australian though so eh whatever, its okay ig.
