Stop Code Seven Bravo

Such a great game! I originally played this on the Sega Dreamcast. The dialog is cringe, but so cringe it's good. The game doesn't take itself seriously and I found that rather charming. Overall story is great and does a great job of getting you emotionally invested in the characters without dragging on. The combat system was great. Battles don't feel like a grind fest. A perfect blend of fast pace, tactics and simplicity. The dungeons are fun but not terribly challenging. Boss battles are pretty epic especially after unlocking all the special attacks. Graphics are very vibrant/colorful and hold up surprisingly well for a 20+ year old game. My only complaint is the game is so short. Maybe 30 hours if you take your time and poke in every nook and crannie. But I guess that may be a good thing with some RPGs being a 300+ hour investment. Is it worth 39 dollars on the switch? Yes! It's one of those games that you'll remember fondly and want to dust off and replay over the years.
