THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER
⭐️ Fan REVIEW
🔴 No spoilers, No deep dive details
As we all know in the last few Marvel movies, the great and mighty Thor, has turned into a thick blob of depression and insecurity. I was genuinely curious to see how they’d turn it around for him. Lo and behold, i was not disappointed. Ladies, our man God, Chris Hemsworth is back; sexier and funny as ever.
The movie was a wonderful mix of comedy and horror…. With a dash of romance. I found myself laughing one minute and freaked out the next. In true sci fi form, Thor was visually vibrant and had non stop action. A very fast paced story that i could’ve sat and watched for another hour, which is why i gave it 4 out of 5. It was well put together, very quick, but left me wanting more.
Christian Bale deserves his flowers for his performance as Gorr the God Butcher. I haven’t simultaneously felt empathy and been creeped out by a villain before.
As an avid Marvel fan, i know we are sad to see the phase one heroes stories slowly come to a close and welcome in a new generation of heroes. It was heartbreaking to lose Iron Man and Captain America. I won’t lie, I enjoyed the bittersweet feeling of watching a Phase One hero have a well written, thrilling and action packed cinematic adventure that didn’t disappoint.
