This is a riveting read that portrays the vulnerability of young women. It shows how easy it is for a young woman to be looped into a situation like Vanessa's and in the moment have it feel like it is love even though it is abuse. It can be triggering for some but if you read the blurb it states what the book is about. Kate did an amazing job writing this book and showing the side of teacher/student relationships that people wouldn't see from the outside. Reading this books makes me understand more-or-less why some young people get into situations such as this because to them it seems innocent. Very good read and i highly recommend.
