Puloma Dasgupta

Watched Kalank even though the reviews were pretty rotten. Was surprised to find it was such a good movie! Couldn't make out how it could have been rated anywhere under a 3/5. The story was pretty good, like something out of a book, and the acting was very good too. The sets were not very realistic, though, and Madhuri's dance was unfortunately poor (she may have been out of practice for long, and the choreography wasn't great in her song either). Apart from its few flaws, however, it is a well done movie. I rate it 3.5/5.
