Fusion: the entire community of Miao rise to the occasion to save a life. Heartwarming, inspirational. The children in the movie were spectacular. The entire cast was engaging. Realistic, the scenery was breathtaking. All in all, I have viewed this movie several times and will share the internet link with my friends all over the world. Truly a sense of human nature at its best in healing, song, dance and costume. A people at one with Nature.

Deep in the history of late 19th century, early 20th Century history, this book bridges the education of the British Empire with the future emergence of the world's 2nd largest population. One woman, with courage, strove to make a difference, to reach out to help those for too long neglected, the women of India, caught between the traditions of India and the high culture of Great Britain and Oxford University. This is an eye-opening history enriching the sensibilities of those striving to understand the human condition.

Great visuals and special effects. Challenges the notion of time-reversibility. Puts up for discussion the notion of "Heaven" a separate special realm where the human "soul" lives; and thus necessitates the clarity of the definition of "soul" to begin with. The best part of this movie is the infusion of beauty into the scenery of the movie. And the movie brings the viewer the question: what is the purpose of imagination? I say, clearly, one purpose is to give all of us an experience of beauty and awe. What are the limits of human behavior: time? walls? thought? All thought-provoking issues. So all in all, the movie is not only entertaining but also serves to challenge many of our long-standing, unquestioned beliefs. We often get into a rut in accepting the "normal." Well this movie challenges both our need to cling to the routine as well as define the norm to exclude new, refreshing ideas. For this reason alone, the movie deserves 5 stars.
