JOEY 1882

An excellent viewpoint from the German side of the war. It illustrates just how horrific and saddening the whole monstrous affair was for ALL soldiers involved. More than any other film, or documentary, I've watched, the sheer brutal, inhumane insanity of WWI was laid bare. Just HOW the world allowed the perpetrators; the elite, the bankers, the corporatists, the politicians and the top brass military, to get away with the mass slaughter of innocent, unknowing men and boys is beyond comprehension! This film should be shown to every child in secondary school to highlight the murderous pointlessness of war and those kids that see it need to be educated in the real truth as to how and why this and other wars REALLY happened. Brought tears to my eyes and it must be said that this film will, or at least should, go down as one of the all time classics.
