“He smiles over at me, and my heart does an uneasy somersault beneath my breastbone because I realize I’m wrong: for the first time in months-maybe years- I’m happy. And with Ethan, of all people.”
Got hooked instantly and finished it in a day, it’s an easy read as the book have no means for complex conversations.
It’s a great read for those who are new to reading or new to romance book. A refreshing take on luck, love and setback with some cringe setting (iykyk).
I would say, it’s the typical enemies to lovers with fake dating trope, which also have a 3rd act breakup plot, where the couple get together only to break up and reunite. But the conversation and banter between Ehtan and Olive was fun and loved and definitely not cliché.
“It’s so exhausting pretending to hate you.”
A cutesy beach read at best with predictable plot.
