Two stars for occasionally good medical stories and acting, but overall low ranking due to the unrealistic relationships between the hospital personnel, specifically the attitude towards the main character (too friendly, on a verge of being intentionally over dozed).

Too much s.e.x in the show that feels like watching a por.n.o.graphy. Claire's body is so overly exposed all the time that you start pity the poor actress. That's additionally to her annoying shallow acting, unclear motives and unnatural choices not matching any time, not just 18th century but the time she's coming from. Captain Randall character is just sa.d.i.stic and sick. I don't get why was it necessary to show his d.i.c.k in an attempted r.a.p.e scene of Jamie's sister? That was really a red line, even with all the female n.u.d.i.ty already shown. It felt dirty, inappropriate and offensive. I began watching the show as an historical drama that started really good, with all what Claire's been discovering about Scots and Jacobites on their rout for a tax collection. But after the wedding episode it just went downhill. I wonder if the producers just lost it at some point, or they were mentally sick from the start.
