5 stars for the creativity of making this film only. I was confused towards the end of this movie. Was the message about respecting the teacher despite how he acted with his students? If it was, then I pity the students. The teacher wanted to educate but expected the students to behave well on their own. They are kids; they need the adults to guide them (not the one who keeps shouting/yelling at his students). Also, some of the important scenes were not meant to be inside this movie; for example, it didn't portray the scene of Mihad learning the school subjects with Cikgu Sunan at his house. And when Alias ki*led his beruk to save his teacher, not a single sorry and thank you were given by the teacher to Alias. But then you expected the students to respect you???! So many talented actors in this movie, but the characters are fragile; I couldn't find the impact. If this is how all teachers in Malaysia think it is right to educate, please educate yourselves first. Kids are fragile; they are precious and easy to be shaped if we do it right. Ajar mereka apa maksud hidup, baru lah ajar cara untuk hidup.
