Although this is a confusing and frustrating film to watch, I understand the deeper story being portrayed here. I won't go into it all as the other reviews cover it. The acting in the film cannot be faulted. My main issue with the film is the way he has chosen to tell the story, I feel it is self indulgent and he has fully intended to divide opinion. This is evident by the fact I am writing this review, never has a film compelled me to do so before. I definitely think he overstepped boundaries with a brutal and unnecessary vulgarity, again his intention. Do not watch this is you're sensitive, it is graphic in parts and has a few deeply disturbing scenes. Personally I wouldn't recommend it at all. The self indulgent nature of the director/writer is palpable throughout
