The team behind this movie did a great job adapting the book! Adaptations of anything as beloved as RWRB are hard. Plot points, small scenes, and some characters have to be dropped for the sake of a reasonable runtime and pacing. The ending does feel a little rushed, but is still satisfying. All the actors did a phenomenal job but Nicholas Galitzine really shines as Henry. He portrays the fine line Henry has to walk with the weight of his heritage, people's expectations, and his own desires so well. You feel his struggle, his heartbreak, and his happiness. Taylor Perez also portrays the disaster gay that is Alex's personality phenomenally, as wells as his growth as a person and partner later on.
