This movie makes NO sense whatsoever. Good acting by lead characters, Hayek and Wilson achingly carry this production until its thankful end. They did a great job! Great special effects, but the story is desperate for meaning, and the writing is well...you decide. Another "eat this colorful pill, not that one, or we don't have enough blue(ones), mega-confusing tech/matrix twist, time to panic, sacrifice, etc.," storyline. Sorry. Had potential, just ended up being a Matrix spin-off after all. Just my 2 cents. How many times will this story be regurgitated???

I am not a movie expert, or avid movie critic, but this movie was gripping in so many fun and charming ways. This is a fantastic STORY, and I emphasize that because it was refreshing to see a movie with an actual, inteligent, fun, along-for-the-ride - very well-written STORY! For science fiction fans this is an easy win in every way shape and form. For anyone who simply likes a great movie, this is also a win win. It is an inspiring movie that gave me chills more than once...and all out goosebumps mixed with actual tears of excitement and that deep ancient emotional "what if" that we as a species have always dreamed about.... this movie is an instant classic in my opinion. I could go on and on but just watch it and enjoy. ((best part is there is NO trace or mention of politics, religion, social events ongoing, sexual drama, etc., it is all about science, discovery, and friendship)). There simply need to be more movies with this message in mind; STORY MATTERS.
