First off, let me say that I TOTALLY disapprove of slavery! The thing that really drew me to this movie was the nudity. A movie with the kinds of nudity shown here would land the makers in prison today. In the early 1970's things were more sensible. Most of the young women were BEAUTIFUL, and the men and boys quite handsome. Not all of the practices in the movie were practiced by all slave owners. I believe that some things were exaggerated. I definitely didn't like the ending, or any of the violence shown from earlier times. Of course, slavery did entail violence, the whole idea of slavery is repulsive.
