I have thoroughly enjoyed this show but I’ve also come to realize how naive I am when it comes to matters of the heart vs greed.
I fell slap in love with these people , their babies, and their families and then I noticed a sharp change in costs & the way business was done in the homes and costs of repairs.
So yeah, we are all going through a recession, inflation, a recession, supply chain issues,a recession and a lack of umph during a recession from an otherwise able work force. So during a recession, it’s been tough to right some wrongs but you can’t blame the ones who showed up when the world is in a 1 order mode.
I did, however, notice that Erin’s mom was a bit curt with Ben’s mom when they bought their home in season 7. I loved how she helped with wallpaper & sewing but she turned out to be, as my granny would say, “a puss!”.
Lord have mercy on all that & I pray this couple never succumb to mean people they’re related to or not in this evil world.
You’ve done way too much good for people to let a dark shadow be cast. So pull up the carpets & bust through the sheet rock, expose the beautiful floors, beadbord, shiplap & brick and let the natural light in. Erin has embellished many homes with beautiful art and personal items. Ben has made a mark on gorgeous craftsmanship in the homes with beautiful species of wood and design.
I say(as a nurse out of work due to injury) if you’re done with back-breaking work, you’re done. So keep a business for those sweet girls & cousins that keeps on giving. It’s a legacy!!💕
