Honesty, the game itself isn’t terrible, I just think that 2K games is beginning to take the community for granted. The gameplay is probably close to the best it’s ever been, if not the best. The story is the strongest it’s ever been, and all the different ways to play, get involved, it’s tough to ask for much more... ...but when you’re charging full price for this game every year, we deserve so much more. Granted, with all the great modes (including the new addition of WNBA), not enough was added to justify a purchase of this game at $60 if a consumer already owns and invested in 2k19. Bottom line, it’s a fun game with lots of variety, but with all of the micro transactions and very little innovation (likely due to the end of this console generation), I can not recommend buying this game at the Day One MSRP of $60 USD. I really do want to keep playing this game, but I’ve since returned it for a full refund and will likely pick it up at a deep discount around the holiday. Returning buyers, BEWARE!!!
