Compelling cast. Shallow script. Never manages to transcend the eye rolling tropes of the romance genre. Does manage to include awkwardness in a gringe-worthy way that could have been endearing but instead fall into the metaphorical realm of polyester where I had hoped for linen or silk from this cast. Disappointing.
