Put simply the best series on TV for many years. The Star Wars title is irrelevant. It's set in the overall universe obviously but it's all at a early stage and it's not the main focus. What it does however, is have a realism and depth of story that no other SW production ever has. No throw away glib humour or angelic like heroes but shows how normal people become as one either for or against the empire. It shows a human side of both factions that we've never seen before. I could go on for ever about the sets and the story and never begin to scratch the surface of this masterpiece, but it's a sum of its parts that makes this even more remarkable. The acting, the music, the monologues you can feel the love and passion that the makers had for ever single part of this. It's remarkable in every way and television of the very highest quality and originality. An absolute masterpiece.
