what they got right :
1- Acting of innies and outties
2- Strange vibes at the start of the first episode ( confusion ) " I think it was actually a masterpiece intro "
3- The mysterious feeling of the board
4- Un-explained work including the departments with futuristic black mirror Offices
5- Ignorant population that doesn't question Lumen
6- the room tone and creepy dance of Milchick in the 5 mins music day
7- the boss's cult pictures
8- rebellious nature of helly, which is ,what we think will be, the natural behavior of all of us if we were to be put in a situation like that..
what they didn't get right :
Wasting exactly 7 Episodes on boring un-interesting story line without any progression in the main plot ,and about 90 % of the last episode with the most stupid, dead since 20 years ago , cliff hanger that makes you feel un-rewarded after wasting 8 hours off your life without answers to a single question about lumen.
the cliff hanger of the last episode was so un-rewarding that it didn't actually progress the story even 1 bit not even for the 2nd season for the following reasons :
1- We didn't get to see the consequence for the inners actions.
2- the shock of mark's sister
3- the reaction of the audience attending helly's lumen meeting
4- The reaction of the outties when they learn what the innes have said.
I think Apple+ had the most creative idea of a show of 2022, but they wasted an opportunity to make it a masterpiece show like no other.
