I've been playing games since I got Nintendo for Christmas in the 80's. This is the first time I think I've ever written a review. I saw the trailer for the 2nd game and thought it looked incredible but everything I read said you had to play the 1st one. My God I've enjoyed this game. Its like playing a thrilling book, movie or TV show. It's like Twin Peaks for Playstation. This a masterpiece. I can't believe I hadn't heard about this game it's deserves to be praised and advertised as one of the best games out there. I'm sure some will say the shooting & flashlight schtick are basic and boring which I get. But I liked that. There's tons and tons of more intensive shooting games. This game wasn't meant for that. It's a story but I still liked the shooting aspect. You don't have to overthink things or overplan a strategy. I loved it.
