I am now 77 years old and A Stone for Danny Fisher was the first book to leave a lifetime impression and memory for me. I was 13 when I first read it, it was given to me by my favorite Aunt. Powerful story for me the son of a factory worker in a suburb of Cleveland Ohio. It made me feel like I was there with Danny, it spoke to me on a level I didn't understand, but it spoke to me.
