Loved, loved, loved season 1!! However, I wasn't sure how I felt anymore after watching season 2...so, I rewatched season 1. Now I'm confident that Jo-Jo did Sun-oh wrong, wrong, wrong! She broke him! Shattered him to little pieces using a lame excuse to herself and giving no explanation to him even when he's repeatedly asked her to! Even years later when he proves he STILL LOVES HER, she still refuses explain her flawed and selfish logic to him. Hye-yeong just plain old loves her no matter what. For years he was there in the background, ​quietly waiting for her to acknowledge him. Definitely pros and cons to that type of single minded, obsessive dedication. Especially when it's one sided. However, I think he was sweet and deserving. And, I would have been 100% on board with that outcome if she hadn't left poor Sun-oh drowning in misery. The shade! The abject disrespect and disregard for a person she supposedly cared for..? Yeah...NOT okay! This series is an emotional roller-coaster 😢 😭
