A beautifully written book with great joy and incredible sadness.the writer brings his characters to life and one feels part of their story.
A series of stories set back in time in the Caribbean, slavery was still abound and the misery of Mr Byron-Cox’s descriptive writing brought tears to my eyes and heart several times.
When I finished reading, I was hankering for more.
