This movie is a fresh take on the original tale of the the little mermaid. The sound track was outstanding and well worth seeing in a movie theatre. For those who say to wait and watch it on Disney plus, I disagree. This movie has enchanting music and colors throughout the film that come alive in the theater. Ariel’s curiosity and kindness mirrors Eric’s; resulting in great chemistry. For those frustrated with the changes in the film, it’s a live action, and like all other live actions, it’s bound to have some changes. It still has the charm of the original. Ultimately, this movie is for children. I could hear kids sing along in the theater and talk about how much the enjoyed the film at the end. The ones that are complaining about the film are too busy nit picking every detail and difference instead of actually watching the movie.
